Our pricing depends on various factors such as project scope, timeline, deliverables, and team compositions. Most of our UX/UI engagements are fixed price contracts where we provide you with a detailed proposal after project briefing. All estimates are calculated based on the hourly rates and the number of hours it will take to complete the project. However, if the scope is not defined or the project is very dynamic, we prefer engaging on time basis where you pay us for the time spend on the project.

For example, an average project that requires full fledge services with a timeline of approx. 10 weeks may cost around $8k -$16k depending on various factors such as complexity, scope, number of target users etc. We would generate a custom rate card for you for time and materials engagements based on the team composition. Our hourly fees range from $65-70 for junior designers to $180 for design directors. We also provide discounted prices to eligible start-ups. Our work process is based on the design thinking methodology which allows us to solve problems through various important steps. We incorporate an interactive, flexible and hands- on approach to creating innovative solutions. We focus on client needs and adapt to almost any project type and collaboration model. While each engagement is unique, we go through the following key phases:

Define

We start off by gathering and consolidating all project documentation, existing research and user data and scheduling meetings with your team to get thorough understanding of the project. During these sessions, we interview the key stakeholders to get insights of the goal, scope, limitations and strategize the next steps. Based on the gathered information, we define the project scope and problem statement.

Discover and Research

During this phase we start off by conducting background research to analyze the existing data in form of literature review, user feedbacks and competitive analysis. We then move forward with planning for user research where we conduct interviews, surveys, observations etc. with target users to gather answers to research questions and understand user pain points, requirements, and desires. The form of user research we conduct is determined by the site, system, or app, as well as the timeframe, scope, and environment.

User Data Analysis

We synthesize a digital strategy and establish a UX methodology to drive our design process based on the discovery and research findings. We create ideal user journey map, user personas that, prioritize key findings and create affinity diagram to create patterns and list down needs & requirements for the conceptualization phase.

Conceptualization

Once we have the requirements nailed down, we move on to creating sketches and exploring various concepts to establish such core elements as information architecture, key screens layout and overall structure of the system. We then evaluate pros and cons of each concept based on which generate one final concept which is either stand alone or integration of best features from each initial concept. After this step, we validate the final concept with the users and stakeholders in form of wireframes. Once the feedback is in, we iterate on the concept to make necessary updates to proceed with design phase.

UX/UI Design

After the concept has been approved, we start with the design phase, continuously conducting user tests and iterating along the way. In this step, we generate user flow, final wireframes and low fidelity design followed by high level UI design. We incorporate the low-fidelity design process and not move to final UI design right away because low fidelity prototypes allow to check and test the functionalities rather than the visual appearance of the product. This allows us to receive undistracted and unbiased feedback on the functionalities present on the design from the target users. Once we have conducted user tests on low fidelity designs, we move on to making essential changes to the product based on user test results and then move on to high fidelity design focused on branding, micro interactions, and visual elements of the design. We then conduct final user tests with the target users to make sure the product meets their expectations and provides a great user experience.

Development

Because we have an inhouse team of dev experts & professionals, we include them in each stage of the process in order to gain their feedbacks and to make the process of design handoff smooth. Once we are done with design phase or even when some modules are completed, the development team takes over and start working side by side with design team. This allows us to save client time and solve technical issues (if any) at early stage. We stay in touch with you throughout the process and keep updating on the progress. After development phase, we conduct final tests and hand over the product to you. We conduct final meeting to go over the results with you and answer any questions you might have. We love building long term relationship with our clients and therefore, we are always available even after the project completion to provide support and assistance whenever needed.
